Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The PRN LPN will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including outpatient clinics, assisted living facilities, and acute care environments. Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist with patient assessments and documentation of medical histories.
- Provide care for patients requiring catheter care and support during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Deliver compassionate care to infants, geriatrics, and patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in travel nursing assignments as needed to support various healthcare facilities.
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
- Experience in acute care, inpatient, or outpatient settings preferred.
- Knowledge of infant care practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with catheter care procedures and cardiac catheterization is desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to nursing practice.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
