Summary :

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for working with customers on their screen printing and embroidery projects from start to finish.

This role contributes to the success of the company by providing a positive experience for screen printing clients, ensuring a smooth process, and increasing the likelihood of securing future business.

This is a non-exempt, full-time position requiring an average of 40 hours per week. Although overtime is expected during high volume periods, the typical schedule is during regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 am-5 : 00 pm.

Responsibilities / Duties :

  • Act as liaison between customers and screen printing staff to communicate timelines, project needs, and capabilities
  • Create estimates and obtain customer approval
  • Create sales orders and submit approved orders to art and production team
  • Create PO’s, order, track, and receive in blank goods shipments
  • Update production schedule and job status daily
  • Data entry, filing, and other general admin duties as needed

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced computing skills required
  • Previous experience in customer service and / or production / manufacturing environments strongly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of garment decorating processes is a plus, although genuine interest and the ability to learn quickly is adequate to meet this requirement
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and production artwork requirements a plus

Physical Requirements :

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer, as well as frequent standing and walking to the production floor
  • Requires the ability to hear, speak, and use a telephone and computer.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
  • Available to work (hours) : Monday - Friday during regular business hours. Occasional evening, weekend and holiday hours may be necessary during peak seasons.
