Key Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee concrete projects from inception to completion
- Develop structural plans and drawings for concrete construction
- Maintain project schedules to align with overall timelines
- Review material testing results and rebar inspections to ensure compliance with design standards
- Analyze geotechnical data to confirm foundation adequacy
- Collaborate with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and contractors for smooth execution
- Troubleshoot and resolve construction challenges
- Ensure compliance with design codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress
- Operate surveying equipment to verify foundation locations
- Position requires approximately 15% travel
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
- Comprehensive knowledge of:
- Structural design, surveying, and construction processes
- Aggregate equipment and ACI Concrete Design Code
- OSHA/MSHA Design Parameters
- Strong understanding of strength of materials and structural analysis
- Relevant experience in the bulk material industry
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA Foundations, and industry-specific design software
- Familiarity with Windows Office tools
- Excellent organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to ensure project functionality, adherence to schedules, and fulfillment of customer expectations
