Job Title : Landscape Foreman
Job Description :
The Landscape Foreman's responsibilities include overseeing the installation and management of landscape and hardscape projects, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use and care of equipment, ensuring staff observe safety guidelines and protocols, and completing various administrative duties. You should also have leadership skills and sound knowledge of pesticides and chemicals.
Functions :
Direct activities on the job site, they include but are not limited to : coordinating workflow, hands on work, and operating a variety of machinery.
Manage personnel effectively and efficiently.
Communicating production goals with crew members and clients.
Monitor all tools, equipment, and machinery for needed maintenance.
Track and record all job expenses, including but not exclusively materials and hours worked.
Maintain a clean and safe job.
Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities :
Supervises and manages landscape crew.
Ensures that all crew members utilize all required personal protective equipment.
Ensures that all installation work is performed in accordance with industry and company standards.
Ensures that all safety rules and company safety policies are adhered to.
Communicates well with all crew members, supervisor, and clientele.
Recruiting and training new crew members.
Completing landscape design and construction.
Complete equipment inspections & daily services.
Keep equipment, vehicle, trailers & tools in good, clean order.
Providing cost, material, equipment, and time estimates.
Maintain a clean and safe job site.
Requirements : High school diploma
Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping.
Good math skills for measuring and ordering materials.
On-the-job training as a landscape crew member.
Experience in a leadership role would be advantageous.
Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions.
Bilingual (English / Spanish) language preferred.

3 years preferred experience.
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Drivers License (required) and reputable driving record.
Proficient heavy equipment operating skills including front end loaders, mini-excavators, and skid steer machinery with various attachments; other construction equipment as needed.
Knowledge and experience in installing a variety of hardscape applications.
Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees; identification and cultural requirements.
Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background (i.e. company staff, clientele, contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and other designers).
Punctual and dependable.
Ability to lift 100lb.
General understanding of Irrigation & Outdoor lighting (Highly recommended)
General understating of other industries you will be working alongside (pool, gas, electrical, carpentry, concrete, etc)
