Summary/Job Scope: Customer Service Representative
Purpose of Position: An Order Taker applies company policies and procedures to guide customer correctly and diplomatically to correctly place an order of concrete.
Key Responsibilities:
Helpful to have knowledge of concrete applications industry practices
- Takes order from customer and enters correct information into Command System.
- Sells the company and sells the value-added products.
- Keeps schedule graph current.
- Obtains proper directions to job and any special circumstances.
- Responsible for on-time delivery and avoids over-booking.
- Interacts closely with customer service/sales/operations teams.
Qualifications and Education:
- Extensive customer service skills
- Computer literate with spreadsheet skills-Microsoft Office is required.
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent/GED
- Advanced computer skills with the ability multi-task (ie. Take a phone order while entering information into the system)
- Ability to read and write in English.
