About Us : Superior Mechanical is a leading provider of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

We are seeking a motivated Project Sales Representative to join our growing team in Raleigh. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with commercial and industrial clients who need mechanical system upgrades or replacements.

Job Summary : As a Project Sales Representative, you will identify and secure new business opportunities with commercial and industrial clients, both for immediate and future mechanical system needs in our assigned markets. The Project Sales Representative is responsible for developing assigned key accounts. You'll leverage your expertise in large-scale HVAC systems, consultative selling skills, and financial acumen to develop tailored solutions for clients. This role requires proactive outreach to potential customers and a focus on building strong relationships.

Salary : $95-100K / year Commissions and Incentives

Required Qualifications :

  • At least 3 years of successful experience in providing mechanical solutions for commercial and industrial clients
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and Building Automation, including Chillers, VRF systems, Boilers, WSHPs, AHUs, RTUs, CRAC units, Ductwork, Piping & Fitting, and Direct Digital Controls.
  • 3 years of experience in estimating and presenting full conceptual solutions.
  • Experience with qualifying prospects and making effective sales presentations
  • Strong customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Proven success in "trusted advisor" and "ROI-focused" sales methods.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in vendor and subcontractor relationships, including equipment / material buy-outs.
  • Familiarity with proposal writing, purchase orders, and contract review.
  • Plan and efficiently schedule appointments and manage personal time to ensure maximum productivity.
