What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerospace Engineering Development Program position at Superior Metals Manufacturing?
At Superior Metals Manufacturing, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional results in the aerospace industry. As a Summer 2025 Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the manufacturing of aerospace superalloys and work closely with our engineering team to improve our processes.
The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Mechanical, Electrical (Automation), Metallurgical, or Chemical degree from an accredited program with at least 2 years of coursework under their belt. You will be responsible for assisting with data collection, process trials, and developing new methods to improve operations.
- Assist with data collection and process trials

- Collaborate with shop floor teams to create routings and process instructions
- Prepare reports and technical notes to document process improvements
- Use critical thinking skills to assist with root cause analysis and process improvements
