Human Resources Generalist

The Human Resources (HR) Generalist manages the day-to-day operations of the human resource office of the Company, as well as the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs. The HR Generalist handles staffing, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, and employment. HR Generalist will work for the Human Resources manager in support of the goals and objectives of Superior Mobile Health.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies.
- Manages and tracks all employee disciplinary action.
- Assist with the preparation, coaches, counsels of employees in support of management corrective action.
- Assists with recruitment tasks as needed (reviews applications, interviews).
- Acts as an employee relations liaison.
- Monitors tardy and absenteeism reports and ensure proper documentation is issued on employees who have excessive tardiness or absenteeism problems. Reports vacation, sick, personal day and holiday use to payroll and scheduling.
- Maintains employee personnel records and paperwork.
- Ensures compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification; periodically audits Forms I-9.
- Answer employee questions and addresses employee concerns within the company; to include employee safety, welfare wellness and health.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Strong PC skills and MS Office skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
- 2 years of experience in human resources position.
- Knowledge of employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, talent acquisition, and employee relations.
- General knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are in an office environment. Physical requirements include lifting to 25 pounds occasionally. Subject to sitting, standing and walking for long periods of time.
