Outcome: The Inventory Controller is a champion for data accuracy who will help the company manage inventory levels and systems to meet customer demand and reduce losses. They manage and prepare regular inventory, sales and purchasing reports to keep the management team informed.
Job Expectations:
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory at all times.
- Executes daily inventory analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies and problems timely.
- Oversee cycle count program, investigations, and adjustments.
- Creation and maintenance of inventory objects, including locations, inventory items, inventory batches, inventory groups, and cost items.
- Developing and implementing inventory control systems and practices to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved.
- Communicate and lead inventory employees to meet business goals.
- Prepare, review, publish, and file financial inventory reports.
- Oversees inventory item master, identifying incorrect descriptions and program names.
- Manage all new set ups in the ERP system such as new items, new users and new vendors.
- Create and maintain BOMs with clear communication to key stakeholders when things change.
- Prepare, review, publish, and file various sales and purchasing reports.
- Manage traceability reporting in compliance with SQF requirements.

- An analytical mind with strong math skills.
- Proficient with ERP and data entry systems. Microsoft Business Central experience is preferred.
- Thorough understanding of inventory policies and procedures.

- A collaborative leader with an eagerness to learn and adapt to new systems.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Food Manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Background in Physical Inventory maintenance/control.
- Computer literate with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and pivot tables.
- Experience with Power BI and Paginated reports.
- Proven leadership skills.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, twisting, bending, and reaching.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
