Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Landscaping Crew Leader to oversee and manage our landscaping projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design and installation, including landscaping, hardscaping, water features, irrigation, lighting, and team leadership. This role involves supervising a team of landscapers to ensure high-quality work, but is also a hands on position.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of landscaping professionals in daily operations.
- Plan and execute landscape maintenance tasks including landscaping, hardscaping, water features, irrigation, and lighting.
- Ensure all crew members adhere to safety protocols and best practices in landscaping.
- Train new employees on proper landscaping techniques and equipment usage.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition; report any repairs needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide exceptional service.
- Monitor project progress and quality, ensuring that all work meets company standards.
- Assist with the design and implementation of new landscaping projects as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in design and installation with a focus on leadership.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good physical stamina; ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for transportation to job sites.
