Overview: Seeking a Concrete Foreman with expertise in supervising crews for flat walls, commercial flatwork, and pouring concrete foundations and slabs. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and measurements is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate concrete construction crews.
- Oversee construction of flat walls, commercial flatwork, and foundations/slabs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members.
- Operate equipment such as skid steers, front-end loaders, motor graders, and excavators.
- Adhere to state specifications and perform accurate mathematical calculations.
- Work varied hours, including nights, mornings, and weekends.
- Perform duties in all weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments.
- Maintain punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Concrete Foreman in commercial construction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to accurately read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and measurements.
- Proficiency in operating construction equipment.
- Knowledge of state specifications and proficiency in mathematical calculations.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and dirty/dusty environments.
- Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic are essential.
