What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Laborer position at Superior Skilled Trades?
Superior Skilled Trades is currently seeking Solar Laborers for a solar project in El Campo, TX.
PAY: $18 - $19 per hour (Based on Experience)
HOURS: 7:00 AM to 3:30pm
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday
START DATE: ASAP
We are looking for applicants with previous construction and/or solar experience.
Assemble, install, or maintain solar systems and other structures in compliance with site assessments and schematics.
Responsibilities Solar Laborers:
- Operate and care for solar equipment.
- Prep solar sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
- Load or unload solar materials.
- Follow instructions from supervisors.
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts
- Solar panel install
- Rigging
- Racking assembly
- Torque tube assembly
- Pile layout
- General cleanup and clearing of debris
- Layout conduit
- Staging panels
Qualifications for Solar Laborers:
- Previous experience in labor or construction preferred
- Familiarity with plumbing and fixture installation is a plus
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Ability to climb, twist ,stand, kneel, bend for long periods.
- Must be able to lift
- Experience with forklift operation is a plus
Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to pass drug screen & background check
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have all PPE Gear
