Seeking a Superintendent with experience in highway lighting systems for a direct hire opportunity with our client,an established family-owned electrical company, specializing in industrial electrical, highway lighting, and traffic signalization projects in Brevard County, FL.
This position offers full benefits including PTO, Medical, Dental and 401k! paid apprenticeships and paid certificationssuch as Crane Certification, IMSA, MOT, Traffic Signal Tech Level I, Level II, and Level III.
Salary is between $70,000 - $80,000 per year (based on experience)withopportunities for career advancement!
Must be able to work out-of-town and nights on occasion
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.
- Supervise subordinates and crew operations to meet or exceed Project requirements and Client expectations.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, care, and inventory.
- Ensure all training needs are met for subordinates.
- Participate in Project start-up and progress meetings.
- Prepare activity, safety, and progress reports.
- Report any problems to the Project Manager.
- Oversee site operations to ensure safety.
Qualifications:
- CDL A (clean driving record required)
- 2 years of supervising experience in a foreman role (REQUIRED)
- 7 years of relevant trade experience (PREFERRED)
- IMSA Certification
- Crew Management (REQUIRED)
- Crane Certification
- OSHA 10
- Commercial and Industrial Electrical Experience
- Traffic Signal Level I and/or Level II
- Journeyman Electrician
- Experience in highway lighting systems, electrical wiring systems, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and roadway signing (PREFERRED)
Physical Demands:
- Must handle physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50lbs.
