Superior Training is a family owned and operated swimming and training facility. Located in the heart of the Western Suburbs, Superior Training is the #1 Swim Lesson destination in the area.
General Job Description: Join our fun, flexible and friendly working environment at Superior Training! We are looking to add enthusiastic members to our team to teach in-water youth swimming lessons. We offer on-site training, competitive pay, flexible hours, and employee incentives. Openings available 7 days/week; Mornings, Afternoons, and Evenings. Potential for managerial work based on time and performance. Must be available for paid on-site training.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
· Desire to work with children and young adults
· Follow outlined curriculum to teach beginner and intermediate students to swim and be safe in, and around the water
· Ability and willingness to regularly check emails and Superior Training’s online Employee board for updates and information
· Must be confident in face-to-face communication with kids, adults, and peers
· Must know how to swim and float in water over 6 feet deep
· Must be able to walk/stand for 30-40 minutes at a time
· Fun and enthusiastic personality
· Ability to act calmly and effectively in emergency situations
· Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures
Minor Duties and Responsibilities:
· Job requires occasional light cleaning and organizing
Qualifications for the Job:
· Swimming Background or Coaching Experience (*encouraged but not required)
· Passionate for working with children with a wide range of skills and abilities
· Must be comfortable in and around the water
· Lifeguard and/or water safety certifications

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
