SuperMoss is a Santa Barbara based company that develops innovative consume products in the pet and garden industries. We are seeking a local talented candidate with the desire to grow within our organization in the Executive Assistant / Office Manager position. The qualified candidate will provide a high degree of support to our Leadership Team, HR Manager, and Client Relationship Manager.
This position provides executive assistance, client services, and office management directly to the Leadership Team. This position requires the ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities throughout the day. Problem Solving is a must-have skill in this position. Must be able to work independently and as a team with staff.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide excellent and professional assistance in the following specific ways:
- Advance projects within the company by problem-solving and bringing solutions to the Leadership Team.
- Learn the many positions within the office and find ways to help or cross-train others over time.
- Assist the HR Manager in payroll functions and recruiting.
- Assist the CEO with organizational tasks
- Interface with the company's contractors to further special projects with real estate, tenants, or purchasing new equipment.
- Work to balance out the office staff by filling in when employees are out.
- Assist in client services with our friendly & loyal clientele.
- Organize work functions and events.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2 years of customer service, executive assistance, project management, or another role demonstrating a high level of critical thinking.
- College degree or progress toward a degree preferred.
- Prior experience with CRM and/or Accounting Software preferred.
- Excellent phone skills.
- Must be able to use Excel.
- Interest in the floral/garden/pet industries a plus.
