What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Clerk position at Supply Chain?
Role Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy by verifying all inbound and outbound orders. Insure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintain inventory records.
- Perform daily inventory management procedures and duties.
- Coordinate physical inventory procedures and adjust system as necessary.
- Follow procedures to accurately adjust inventory for over/short, defective, and damaged product.
- Perform routine clerical assignments including filing invoices and maintaining records.
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Six months warehousing and inventory experience, preferred
- Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred

-Shift: 10am -6:30pm Mon-Fri
-Pay: $22/hr shift diff. $.75
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also have the following skills: Cycle Count, Inventory, Warehouse, General Labor, Forklift, Quality Control, Material Handler, Machine Operator, Loader/Unloader, Cherry Picker, Order Picker, Order Picking, Shipping, Outbound, RF, WMS, Reach Truck
-REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 1 years’ experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker.
-REQUIRED: A MINIMUM of 6 months’ experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.
-At least 6 month’s experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, NVT, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.
