Job Description
In this role you will support the pursuit of new business by leveraging technology to design supply chain solutions for new operations, as well as re-engineering projects for existing operations.
- Supporting the new business development process through active participation in solution development projects
- Developing engineering designed with appropriate use of labor, technologies, systems and equipment
- Providing analytical and warehouse management systems design support on implementation projects
- Reengineering - ability to identify process improvement opportunities within existing operations, incorporates new technology (robotics) within the processes where applicable
- Supports and provides input to the strategy team in reviewing and defining solutions design strategies, by managing complex data sets and conducting statistical analysis
- Drives/supports development of new/innovative services and solutions to meet our customer’s needs
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (Industrial Engineering or Technical), required
- Overall understanding of Supply Chain concepts and experience in at least one logistics element, required
- 3 years of supply chain experience, preferred
