Vice President Operations - AEM
As the Vice President of Operations at DHL Supply Chain, you will play a pivotal role in driving commercial results and achieving operational excellence within your area of responsibility. We are seeking an individual who can support our ambitious growth agenda by developing the pipeline strategy, engaging in new business pursuits, and participating in deal architecture to ensure that DHL Supply Chain delivers on its promised returns. It is essential for this role to effectively translate the organization's strategies, enabling the operations teams to understand, align with, and be motivated by our direction.
With over 500 facilities and a dedicated team of more than 50,000 associates, DHL Supply Chain North America attributes its success to the hard work and dedication of our team, operating in over 150 million square feet of operational space.
Job Description
- Contribute to the executive leadership group in setting the business's vision, strategy, and agenda.
- Oversee operations across a wide geography, diverse customer base, and manage a vast team of leaders.
- Develop and implement a regional strategy for customer accounts within the assigned geography.
- Ensure a safe, productive, and results-driven environment through effective management and a commitment to excellence.
- Navigate an ever-changing marketplace with multiple priorities, serving diverse customers, vendors, managers, and associates.
- Accountability for negotiations, contract adherence, and successful execution of Business Continuity Agreements (BCAs).
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, required.
- 10 years management experience, required.
- 7 years distribution/warehousing experience, required.
- Third-party Logistics experience, preferred.
