Summary
Support Solutions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) Team Leader to join our team. This role involves overseeing and supporting a team of DSPs who provide quality care and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting. The Team Leader ensures that services are delivered in accordance with individualized care plans, promotes a safe and supportive environment, and fosters a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Implements and adheres to all policies and procedures of Support Solutions.
* Work at least 40 hours weekly; this includes at least 36 DSP hours, with the option of 4 administrative hours as needed weekly when assigned to 1 Program. 32 DSP hours, with the option of 8 administrative hours as needed weekly when assigned to 2 Program.
* Assist the Residential Service Coordinator in providing training on clients specific and program activities.
* Ensure medication orders are accurate and up to date, ensure all medications are ordered.
* Ensure the following work is completed by the Team Lead in the home(s) assigned.
- MAR Documentation
- Communicate needed supplies for the program to the Residential Service Coordinator.
- Complete monthly checklists
- Complete paperwork filing as needed
- Verify all receipts have been entered into PEX
- Verify personal spending balances
- Ensure all medical appointments are attended
- Complete and file medical visit forms as needed
- Assist in licensing reviews for licensed programs
- Document and consult with Residential Service Coordinator on all problems affecting the home i.e. behavior, canceled activities, transportation problems, medication errors and safety concerns.
- Assist with completed plan of corrections or program reviews
- Attend all staff meetings and meetings required by the Residential Service Coordinator.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Required: High school diploma or GED/HiSet
- Required: Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, with 1 to 3 months in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team while maintaining a positive and respectful work culture.
- Proficiency in documentation, Microsoft Office Programs, and Therap Software.
