Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at SupraNaturals. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining labor and overhead rates, cost rollups, inventory valuations, and postings, as well as analyzing variances and maintaining accurate general ledger accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain pricing information worldwide, including manufacturing and purchase costs, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with Operations to develop and implement pricing structures within the system, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Support Sales in establishing pack, promo, and specialty pricing to drive product sales and revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain pricing models for approval across all markets, taking into account regional differences and market trends.
- Assist with employee product pricing and approval, ensuring transparency and fairness.
- Prepare VAT reports and monthly tax reports, providing insights into financial performance and areas for improvement.
- Provide approval of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct product cost analysis for existing and new products, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Utilize Bill of Materials costing to provide cost changes to management, informing strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with R&D in creating cost breakdowns for new products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide customs cost information to logistics, facilitating seamless import and export processes.
- Maintain confidentiality on all pricing and costs, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- 2-4 years of cost accounting experience, with a proven track record of success in similar roles.
- Experience with Oracle and Exigo ERP systems, with expertise in data analysis and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with advanced computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with ability to analyze complex financial data and identify areas for improvement.
- Understanding of inventory valuation and its impact on financial statements, with ability to interpret and apply financial concepts.
Physical and Work Environment
This role requires occasional sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, and kneeling, with occasional lifting of 10-15 pounds. The position is typically found in an office environment with typical office conditions.
