Job Duties
Summary - The Deputy Clerk (Grade 8) is assigned to operational responsibilities in a high volume, fast paced office with multi-tasking and frequent deadlines. Ensures court's instructions are executed and legal documents prepared/filed with accuracy and in accordance with the state and local policies and procedures. Must provide excellent customer service and have a desire to work in a team environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Handle a wide range of complex clerical and financial tasks including assessing court costs accurately, accept and receipt payments, data entry, alpha/numeric filing, and answering phones. Customer assistance at the counter and by phone is essential.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required. Applicants must be highly organized and possess significant knowledge, skills, and abilities in time management, able to work well with others in an office environment that is fast paced, high volume and frequent deadlines, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Considerations
The most competitive applicants will have customer service experience.
