Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects and manage on-site operations. The Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction processes.
- Manage project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to schedule.
- Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical work as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers to provide accurate construction estimating and contract management.
- Maintain clear communication with team members regarding project updates and changes.
- Train and mentor new employees, fostering a productive team environment.
- Utilize ProCore or similar software for project management documentation.
Experience
- Proven experience in a Supervisor role or similar supervisory position within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline construction processes and techniques.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and management best practices.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
- Experience with construction estimating and contract management is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
