Job Title: HR Coordinator
Reports To: Director of Human Resources
Location: Onsite in Cincinnati, OH
Status: Part time, Non-Exempt
Summary/Objective
The HR Coordinator is responsible for aiding and facilitating all Human Resources processes. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry. Additionally, the HR Coordinator provides front line HR support, engagement practices, and customer service to local and remote employees.

- Assisting employees with resolutions to questions and HR Policy interpretation
- Planning and leading engagement activities for 175 Cincinnati-based employees
- Maintaining a paperless Human Resources department, ensuring all relevant employee documentation is completed, scanned and housed in the HRIS or cloud-based storage files
- Assisting HR team with managing interview schedules for Cincinnati-based positions
- In collaboration with the HR Generalist, conducting regular new hire orientation meetings
- Tracking the completion of onboarding and offboarding procedures for all employees
- In collaboration with the HR Generalist, coordinates the company’s annual open enrollment meetings for medical benefits
- Ensuring accurate employee attendance points records and PTO usage
- Auditing I-9 records to remain compliant with IRS regulations
- Maintaining up-to-date skills on Sur-Seal’s HRIS, including implementing and training on new functionalities
- Partnering with the HR Generalist on all health and welfare initiatives and employee recognition
- Maintaining and tracking all legally required documentation in accordance with the IRS
- Participating in stay and exit interviews
- Providing HRIS administrative support to employee base, including assisting with resetting passwords, creating timecards, answering enrollment questions, and assisting with general account maintenance questions
- Performing light office administration duties such as ordering business cards and ensuring there is a sufficient stock of office supplies and coffee supplies.
- Providing administrative assistance and performing other duties as assigned by the HR Generalist or Director of Human Resources

Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree or current college student, or 1-3 years of related work experience in Human Resources, preferred
