We are looking for an outstanding Senior Accountant for an onsite role in Rosemount, MN. This position will report directly to the Controller and will play a major role in the day-to-day accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will be expected to exhibit the highest professional standards, ethical principles, and attention to detail while working on numerous routine and ad hoc accounting support functions.
The Senior Accountant will be a leader and integral part of the Finance and Accounting team, thriving in a fast-paced environment, bringing enthusiasm to the team, all while being a hands-on individual with consistent performance and a sense of urgency and commitment.
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close activities, including prepaids, fixed assets, and accruals
- Perform monthly account reconciliations and monthly/quarterly variance analysis
- Perform weekly cash reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries, review general ledger accounts and prepare reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP
- Manage corporate expense reporting system reporting and reconciliations
- Prepare and record monthly intercompany entries
- Support the monthly, quarterly and year-end accounting close processes and preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
- Assist with the preparation of audit schedules, compliance reports and or other ad hoc reports in respective areas of responsibilities
- Conduct ad hoc financial/operational analysis as required
- Assist with other accounting/finance projects as necessary
Requirements
- 3 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong G/L; month end close
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- ERP system experience
- Strong data analysis, investigative and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
