Job Description
- Chef Admin/Development with Devops (Chef Automation, Pipelines)
- Implemented and maintained infrastructure as code using Chef to automate configuration management tasks
- Worked on various cookbooks in chef 12 and chef 16 versions. And troubleshooting the chef-client issues while deploying.
- Worked on creating and managing the nodes via chef.
- Updated the existing cookbooks to work in multiple environments. Using the Test kitchen to verify the changes locally and cloud instances.
- Rolled out chef to all servers and used the chef node database to drive host configuration, DNS zones, monitoring.
- Setup and maintenance of automated environment using chef recipes & cookbooks within OpenStack Environment
