SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced CNC Operator for a large manufacturing client located in Carol Stream, IL. This position will operate and set up CNC lathes, and ensure that all procedures are conducted in a safe manner. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts: 1st shift Monday-Thursday (Fri OT at company discretion) 6:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities of the CNC Operator:
- Operate and set up CNC lathe (Okuma and Mazak machine)
- Read blueprints, calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Frequent use of turning tools
- Make machine adjustments
- Ensure that all procedures and activities are conducted in a safe manner
- Any other duties as directed by manager
Preferred Qualifications of the CNC Operator:
- 2 years' experience using operating, setting up, and adjusting CNC machines
- Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers
- Knowledge of turning tools
- Ability to stand frequently, push/pull, occasionally lift at least 10 lbs.
- Steel toe shoes worn at all times
