Warehouse/Freight Coordinator

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for a Warehouse/ Freight Coordinator for a well-known company in Elk Grove Village, IL. All candidates must have an outstanding work ethic, be able to multitask and be able to work moving between the warehouse and office with accuracy.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $21-$24 per hour. This is a temp to hire position. This company is looking for a hardworking, dependable candidate to join their team in a long-term permanent position.

Responsibilities of the Warehouse/ Freight Coordinator:

• Use forklift, pallet jack, computers, stretch wrap machine, weight scale and strapping equipment
• Load and unload trucks
• Receiving items into the warehouse
• Book freight using online portals
• Track orders and freight
• Perform cycle counting
• Maintain records and files with accuracy

Required Qualifications of the Warehouse/Freight Coordinator:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years warehouse experience in similar position
• Ability to read SOPs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer and math skills
• Must work well with others in a team setting
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be a self-starter and work well independently
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Must be able to take direction from management
• Must be looking for a long term position
