The Lead Injection Molding Machine Operator is a key member of the injection molding team, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of multiple injection molding machines. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the crew, coordinating with the Manufacturing Manager on production activities related to assembly, coating, and stamping. The Lead Operator ensures the production of high-quality parts, promotes a strong safety culture, and contributes to continuous improvement.
We are looking for a permanent full-time Lead Injection Molding Machine Operator at our manufacturing facility in N. Dartmouth. This in-person role works Monday-Friday from 2:00pm – 10:30pm.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain multiple injection molding machines, including startup, shutdown, troubleshooting, and adjustments to optimize production.
- Coordinate with the Manufacturing Manager on production activities related to assembly, coating, and stamping.
- Conduct regular quality checks on parts produced, identify and report any quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9000 standards and quality control procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the injection molding crew, communicate production goals, and lead daily morning meetings.
- Deliver regular crew talks on safety, quality, and process improvements.
- Promote safe work practices and behaviors within the team.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, follow SOPs, and suggest improvements.
- Complete daily production reports for each machine, accurately recording production data.
- Sustain 5S principles in the work area.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in injection molding a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating injection molding machines.
- Strong knowledge of injection molding processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
- Experience with assembly, coating, and stamping (preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
