Maintenance Manager - Ft Myers

Job Summary:

This position will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of the building and other nearby Surf Style locations when necessary. You will be responsible for the upkeep of the building including but not limited to custodial work, minor carpentry, landscaping and other maintenance related activities. This position will successfully resolve problems as they occur either directly or by coordinating a plan with Store Management and District Management.

Essential Job Functions (Maintenance Manager):

• Coordinate maintenance worker efforts to make sure the building is properly maintained.

• Coordinate with Store Managers and the District Manager for maintenance issues that need further efforts.

• Identify areas for improvement and solve directly or assign maintenance staff to resolve the issue such as extra (sweeping, dusting, mopping, landscaping, etc.)

• Respond to emergency maintenance calls from other locations when necessary.

• Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs such as (carpentry, general labor, etc.)

• Communicate a plan of action for improvement with each store manager and district manager in regard to scheduled repairs or extra repairs.

• Perform administrative duties in regard to maintenance such as keeping logs of repair invoices/ current contracts, checking invoices for accuracy of repair descriptions, etc.

• Oversee equipment and maintenance supplies and place orders as needed for the business.

Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years of maintenance experience

• At least 1-2 years of maintenance supervision is a must.

• Strong technical skills and an overall understanding of building maintenance (carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning, cleaning, etc.)

• Excellent organizational and communication skills

• Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools.

• Must have a Driver’s license and must be authorized to work in the United States

• Must be able to lift 50lbs or more

• Must be able stand and work for 6-8 hours on a daily basis
