What You’ll Do:
As our HR Generalist, you’ll provide vital support across a range of HR functions. From recruiting and onboarding to compliance and employee records, you’ll work closely with our HR Manager to help deliver a great employee experience across both field and corporate teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with compliance by supporting the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations with guidance from the HR Manager.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and process HRIS updates regularly.
- Assist with recruiting tasks including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
- Schedule and track employee training sessions and meetings, such as harassment prevention and safety related training.
- Support leave of absence tracking and documentation.
- Assist in coordinating workers’ compensation and safety-related processes.
- Help respond to unemployment, disability, and paid family leave claims, in partnership with the HR Manager.
- Prepare reports and summaries for internal use and assist with regulatory reporting.
- Provide other general administrative HR support as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent HR experience.
- 1-2 years of HR experience in a generalist, coordinator, or assistant capacity, preferably in a multi-state or multi-location industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws (e.g., FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO).
- Experience with HRIS systems (such as Workday, ADP, Bamboo HR, etc.).
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus, but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
