Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpet Installer/Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some sort of flooring installation experience. This role requires proficiency in using power tools and performing various construction tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Hard surface experience is a plus.

If you have no flooring experience or very little, then you are considered a liability on the job as we are paid by yardage and square footage. If you are able to become a asset and increase our daily volume, then your pay rate will increase. We do have a 90-day probation assessment period where your paid roughly $15.00 per hour. We assess your work ethic, communication, ability to show up, and chemistry with the rest of the crew to see rather you can be an asset to the team. If this is a match then we can talk pay, and your value plus explore growth opportunities. This is a trade with the potential down the line to pay you six figures yearly once you become independent but if you're looking at this opportunity as a regular job then this isn't the company for you. Amazon will pay you more hourly.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut carpet materials to fit designated areas accurately.
• Install carpet using appropriate techniques, ensuring a smooth and secure fit.
• Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or underlayments.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure that you are doing quality work.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety protocols while working on-site to ensure a safe environment for yourself and others.
• Assist with other construction-related tasks as required, including LVP, Hardwood, Carpet tile installation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Carpet Installer or in a similar role within the flooring industry.
• Abilty to be teachable and catching on to daily tasks.
• Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
• Familiarity with additional skills such as hard surface installation.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• Weekends as needed
• Year round work
