Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and mixers; assist with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of customers.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering services to ensure smooth operations.
Skills
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Experience in fine dining establishments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with brewing techniques is a plus for those interested in craft beverages.
