This role involves preparing meat for sale through various tasks such as cleaning, cutting, grinding, deboning, and packaging. You will play a key part in ensuring the high quality of our meat products and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards in the processing area.
Key Responsibilities :
- Cleaning : Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas.
- Cutting : Cut meat into steaks, chops, and other cuts as needed.
- Deboning : Remove bones from meat products.
- Grinding : Grind meat into paste for further processing.
- Packaging : Weigh, label, and wrap meat for sale or customer orders.
- Sorting : Separate meat into various categories for different uses.
- Storing : Receive, inspect, and properly store meat products.
- Maintaining : Sharpen knives and adjust cutting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Record Keeping : Maintain inventory, budgets, and other relevant records.
