Job Details:

Responsibilities:
- Maintain existing and develop new relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers
- Read, interpret, and review project drawings and specifications from Architects and Engineers
- Develop accurate estimates from project drawings and specifications including taking off materials that are to be included in projects, estimating proper labor, detailing, buyout items, freight, engineering, etc.
- Submit, negotiate, and complete sales process for projects
- Estimate, price, and submit change orders
Position Requirements:
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong mathematical skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively – both verbal and written
- Strong time management skills
- Verifiable experience with construction estimating and/or project management
- Knowledge of estimating structural steel and/or miscellaneous steel
- Experience in reading and interpreting project drawings and specifications
- General knowledge of AWS welding codes
- Experience in the steel construction industry
