Job Title : Purchasing Assistant

Payrate : $19 / hr

Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday

Location : Columbus, GA

Job Description :

We are seeking a reliable and organized Purchasing Assistant to join our team. This is a clerical position responsible for the following duties :

  • Monitoring stock levels and identifying purchasing needs
  • Tracking orders and ensuring timely delivery
  • Updating internal databases with order details
  • Evaluating vendor offers and maintaining relationships with suppliers
  • Maintaining a fully stocked inventory
  • Managing accurate records, invoices, and contracts
  • Providing clerical support for warehouse needs (Only)

    • This position plays an important role in ensuring smooth operations within the purchasing and inventory departments.

    Requirements :

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Prior experience in Customer Service and Sales
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
