Job Title: Forklift Driver
Location: Lakeland, FL
Shift: Monday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 1:30 AM (Occasional Friday for overtime)
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
Job Description: We are seeking reliable and dedicated forklift drivers to join our team. This is a great opportunity for those looking for steady work with consistent hours and occasional overtime. As a forklift driver, you will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials within our warehouse or distribution center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks as needed.
- Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
- Ensure that all products are handled in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Occasionally work overtime on Fridays based on business needs.
Requirements:
- Previous forklift experience preferred, but not required.
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift and move materials as required.
- Must be able to work the specified shift hours (2:30 PM - 1:30 AM, Monday to Thursday, with occasional Friday OT).
