Skilled Maintenance Tech

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on CNC machines, crane hoists, welding equipment, and other machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and correct malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency.
• Install, modify, and maintain electrical and electronic components of machinery, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repair.
• Conduct inspections of machines and equipment, identifying issues before they lead to failure or downtime.
• Respond to urgent maintenance requests and perform repairs under tight deadlines to minimize equipment downtime.
• Collaborate with operators and engineers to ensure machines and systems run efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and log details of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each task.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
• Provide technical training and support to junior maintenance staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Required:

  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with CNC machines, crane hoists, and welding equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG, or Stick welding) and cutting equipment (torch, plasma cutter, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment reliability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Must be able to lift, move, and handle heavy equipment and materials (up to [specify weight], if applicable).

• Preferred:

  • Electrical and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting and programming experience.
  • Experience with automation systems and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
  • Certification in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, infrared thermography, etc.) is a plus.
