Location: Ashland, Ohio

Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on CNC machines, crane hoists, welding equipment, and other machinery.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and correct malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production efficiency.
- Install, modify, and maintain electrical and electronic components of machinery, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repair.
- Conduct inspections of machines and equipment, identifying issues before they lead to failure or downtime.
- Respond to urgent maintenance requests and perform repairs under tight deadlines to minimize equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with operators and engineers to ensure machines and systems run efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and log details of repairs, parts used, and time spent on each task.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and manufacturing efficiency.
- Provide technical training and support to junior maintenance staff as needed.
Qualifications:

Required:
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with CNC machines, crane hoists, and welding equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, and technical documents.
- Welding experience (MIG, TIG, or Stick welding) and cutting equipment (torch, plasma cutter, etc.).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Must be able to lift, move, and handle heavy equipment and materials (up to [specify weight], if applicable).

Preferred:
- Electrical and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting and programming experience.
- Experience with automation systems and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
- Certification in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance tools (vibration analysis, infrared thermography, etc.) is a plus.
