Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wire EDM Set Up and Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, programming, and operation of Wire EDM equipment to produce precision parts for toolmakers and designers. Your focus will be on ensuring high-quality performance throughout the machining process, while maintaining strict adherence to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and program multiple Wire EDM machines for efficient operation and accurate production of precision parts.
- Ensure proper machine functionality for each job to meet specifications.
- Measure and document dimensions to ensure compliance with required tolerances.
- Monitor the EDM machining process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Wire EDM setup and operation is preferred.
- Strong understanding of EDM machinery, processes, and programming.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
