Oilfield Equipment Operator
Pay Range - $25-30/hr DOE Rotation: 14 days on x 7 days off Level: Intermediate, housing , flight and per diem ( 35/day) ; if candidate drive for rotation maximum each way is 500 miles at federal rate otherwise it is a flight.
Oilfield Equipment Operator Responsibilities:
- We are looking for Experienced Equipment Operators to be part of our project near Tonopah, NV.
- These are rotational positions open to all applicants across the US. Equipment Operators at NeoLith Energy’s Direct Lithium Extraction Pilot Plant have the responsibility to perform assigned rounds and checks, collect samples, and monitor and operate process equipment.
- The Equipment Operators are also responsible for their assigned equipment operating in the most efficient manner possible to ensure that NeoLith Energy succeeds in its ambition to validate its novel lithium extraction process and technology with the Pilot Plant being deployed.
Oilfield Equipment Operator Requirements:
- 1 years of Solids Control training and/or relevant experience is preferred
- OR 1 year oilfield Experience
- OR Military Experience
- Dewatering experience
- Barite Recover Experience
- Thorough understanding of Solids Control and closed-loop systems is required
- Knowledge of oilfield practices and procedures
- Applicants must possess a valid Driver’s License
- A motor vehicle record that meets fleet insurance requirements
- Knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel id preferred and general knowledge of safety reporting and JSA's
Oilfield Equipment Operator Essential Duties:
- • Operate and monitor pumps, valves, compressors, storage tanks, filtration skids, and chemical injection systems.
- • Collect samples, at various points of the Pilot Plant and assist the Field Engineer with laboratory tasks.
- Offload sludge waste from the Filter Press into storage containers and prepare for disposal and shipment.
- Provide support for new equipment installation, startup, commissioning, and sustaining operations.
- Perform routine operator rounds and checks of the lithium extraction, lithium concentration, freshwater generation, and postprocessing equipment and systems. Document findings.
- Chemical refill support and supervision for equipment
- Monitor tank levels. Document for proper handover.
- Filter bags replacement (as needed). • Troubleshoot operational parameters that fall outside of normal operating parameters.
- Adhere to all safety policies during the execution of required tasks.
- Use hand tools to make minor repairs on Pilot Plant equipment – including pumps.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods of time, more than 12 hours a day including driving.
Education Required:
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent education.
