JOB TITLE: Refund Coordinator
The Refund Coordinator will review all insurance and patient refunds and process appropriately through EMR/Epic.
Daily Responsibilities:
1. Will review insurance refund requests and determine validity.
2. Submit requests for valid insurance requests to accounting.
3. Will review credit work ques for patient refunds.
4. Communicate with patients regarding patient refunds and account status.
Educational Requirements
- Must have High School diploma
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Computer Skills, Word and Excel
- Knowledge of EPIC is a plus
