We are currently seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team!

The Regional Sales Manager ensures growth of sales and profit and attainment of strategic objectives of all SURTECO North America Edgebanding and related product lines in assigned territory Key Accountabilities. This position will develop the annual sales budget for the assigned territory to generate sales revenue that meets or exceeds sales budget objectives. Employee will be assessed on the ability to attain sales to budget and attain above Average Selling Price (ASP).

Assigned Territory includes the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic area of the United States. Qualified candidates residing within the Northeastern states from Maine to Virginia are encouraged to apply.

No direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Call on distributors and OEM accounts in assigned territory
  • Contact key accounts and target accounts regularly to ensure customer needs are met.
  • Effectively develop and implement solutions for customer problems.
  • Provide pricing, product availability and lead times in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Answer and manage all customer and corporate communications in a timely fashion.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated successful sales experience or customer interface to create win/win situations for the customer/company
  • Demonstrated ability to develop rapport with excellent negotiating skills
  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a dynamic, changing, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to interact and work effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ability to interface across multiple customer levels and functions
  • Strong interpersonal communications (written and oral), organizational and time management skills; including multi-tasking and prioritizing
  • Familiar with Windows products

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce or Marketing
  • 3-5 years of working experience in Sales or Sales Support or related customer facing roles (Customer Service)

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds as needed

Travel Requirements

Time spent away from home or typical office location.

30% or more
