The Role:
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a QHSE Manager to join our team based in Houston, Texas.
Survitec Group Houston is looking for a detail-oriented, good communicator with developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective health, safety, and environment management system HSE manager? In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of a Health, Safety, and Environment assurance strategy for our sites across the Americas, supporting in maintaining our policies and certifications. What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the development of the Survitec regional compliance program, ensuring adherence to Quality and HSE systems and procedures as per global and regional regulations.
- Implementing systems to monitor and assure compliance with Global IMS policies, compiling statistical analysis, and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Advising and supporting regional QHSE champions and site managers on the global QHSE framework and steps for improving regional Quality and HSE performance.
- Providing advice for continuous improvement on Manufacturing and Service products and services.
- Conducting internal and external audits, supporting independent audit activities, and resolving audit issues.
- Assisting in the investigation of QHSE non-conformances and customer complaints, ensuring they are reported in line with Survitec policy.
- Communicating urgent QHSE matters to the region through timely issuance of QHSE alerts and safety bulletins.
- Reviewing and developing QHSE documentation to ensure compliance with operational, regulatory, and customer needs.
- Completing customer documentation related to Quality and HSE elements.
- Supporting the regional implementation of company projects and change initiatives.
Skills
- Extensive experience in HSE within the production and/ or servicing environment.
- Demonstrated ability in people management, including planning and managing resources to achieve functional objectives.
- Strong communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information and ideas.
- Confidence in delivering and reporting on critical business challenges to senior leadership.
Desirable:
- Familiar of ISO 45001/14001 certifications
