Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Welder to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $28 to $32, depending on experience. As a Field Service Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our welding services while working in various field environments. If you have a passion for welding and a knack for troubleshooting, we want to hear from you!
Most travel projects will be 3 days long with all hotel expenses covered, along with a bump in pay on the road. You will travel no more than 60 days out of the year and will have 1-2 big projects a year where you will be on the road for about a week. This role has many benefits that you will get to hear about during the interview process. This role does require some mechanical troubleshooting ability but if you only have the welding experience you are still encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks in the field, utilizing Flux-Cored Arc Welding techniques.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on-site to ensure equipment functionality.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute welding projects accurately.
- Assemble mechanical components and systems as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients regarding project status.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
