What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :

  • Develop and implement aggressive fundraising strategies to generate corporate partnerships
  • Research, identify, and cultivate new business opportunities through lead generation and proposal preparation
  • Manage the full new business sales cycle, including outreach, engagement, and transition to account team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Mission, Marketing, and Community Development teams to create new business opportunities
  • Act as an external ambassador for the organization, promoting mission priorities and engagement opportunities

    • What is Required (Qualifications) :

  • Minimum 5-7 years of related experience in corporate fundraising or partnerships
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding large revenue goals, including building 6- and 7-figure partnerships
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to create financial forecasting / reporting of key performance metrics
  • Exceptional ability to independently research, identify, and close new business opportunities

    • How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :

  • Experience in selling 6- and 7-figure national or regional partnerships for a national non-profit
  • Proven track record in creating and managing a robust sales / partnership pipeline
  • Strong deal / partnership lead-to-close ratio
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on proactive engagement
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% or more based on business needs
