We are thrilled to introduce a brand-new Japanese Izakaya resataurant to Fairfax, VA!
Sushi Friends Hashi blends the cozy, lively atmosphere of a traditional izakaya with subtle Korean flavors, offering an unforgettable dining and drinking experience. "Hashi" which stands for the word "chopticks" in Japanese, is incorporated into our brand to make sure each and every individual's unique experience starts from their chopticks.
From sizzling yakitori and mouthwatering Japanese Izakaya-inspired small plates to handcrafted high-quality sushi , our menu is designed to excite the senses. Paired with our bold and flavorful dishes, our full service bar invites you to try our carefully curated drinks as well. We’re looking for passionate, energetic, and hospitality-driven individuals to join our opening team!
- Hosts - We are looking for a friendly, organized, and personable host to be the first point of contact for our guests and ensure they have an unforgettable experience from the moment they walk in ( We encourage Korean speakers to apply as well!)
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they enter and provide a warm, friendly welcome
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure an optimal guest experience
- Maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and positive manner
- Assist with seating arrangements and table turnover during busy times
- Help create a lively, upbeat atmosphere in line with the izakaya experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with food service operations
- Experience with POS systems
- Background in hospitality and guest relations
- Ability to maintain a welcoming atmosphere and manage guest inquiries effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
