Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Present menus, provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are communicated to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a high standard of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food production and service.
- Uphold restaurant standards for cleanliness, organization, and food safety at all times.
- Assist in training new staff members on service techniques and restaurant protocols.
Experience
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant service is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary practices is essential.
