As a Service Advisor/Writer you will be responsible for:
- Deliver a Genuine and Personalized Customer Experience: Offer a distinctive customer experience by leveraging the service advisor’s authentic personality. Build meaningful connections and develop strong rapport by providing timely updates, actively listening to customer needs, engaging with a customer’s personal interests, and dedicating quality time to each interaction spent with our customers.
- Schedule Appointments: Books service appointments for customers based on their availability and urgency of the repair.
- Greet Customers: Welcomes customers to the service department and listens to their vehicle concerns or issues.
- Create Service Orders: Opens service orders by gathering information from customers about their vehicle's needs and concerns.
- Document Vehicle Concerns and Symptoms: Collects information on vehicle symptoms and communicates with technicians to help diagnose issues.
- Provide Recommendations: Suggests additional services (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations) based on vehicle age, mileage, or manufacturer recommendations.
- Explain Services: Clearly explains the details of required services, repairs, and maintenance tasks to customers.
- Estimate Costs: Provides customers with an estimate for repairs and services, including parts, labor, and additional fees.
- Set/Confirm Expectations: Service advisors set and confirm customer expectations by clearly explaining the scope of services, estimated costs, and timelines upfront, and by keeping customers informed throughout the process. They ensure mutual understanding by addressing any questions or concerns before work begins.
- Coordinate with Technicians: Communicates customer issues to the repair technicians and ensures they understand the scope of the work.
- Track Service Progress: Monitors the progress of repairs and updates customers on the status of their vehicle.
- Ensure Quality Control: Ensures that all services and repairs are performed correctly, checking for quality and completion.
- Handle Customer Complaints: Addresses any customer complaints or concerns, offering solutions and escalating issues when necessary.
- Invoice and Payment: Prepares final invoices, explains charges to the customer, and processes payments for completed services.
- Follow Up: Contacts customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage future visits or maintenance.
- Maintain Knowledge of Automotive Products: Stays updated on new automotive technologies, parts, and service trends to provide accurate advice and recommendations.

Organized and efficient with time and managing tasks.
Schedule: 9:00am-6:00pm Monday-Friday
7:15am-1:00pm Every Third Saturday
