Join our family as a Part-Time Facility and Maintenance Helper. In this role, your priority is the safety and comfort of our customers and employees as you complete a variety of tasks to maintain the building and grounds in a clean, safe, and orderly condition along with a pleasing appearance. This position will work 16-24 hours per week (2-4 days per week) and will work out of BOTH OUR WILLOW STREET AND WRIGHTSVILLE LOCATIONS. This individual will work closely with our Facilities Manager.
Some of the specific duties of the position are as follows:
Make minor facilities repairs to building, building systems, and equipment.
Grounds keeping such as mowing and minor landscaping.
Some janitorial responsibilities such as operating floor cleaning and carpet cleaning machinery.
Take care of the tools and equipment
Assume supervisor's responsibilities in his/her absence.
Assume custodian’s responsibilities in his/her absence.
Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent and basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.
Ability to operate machinery.
Attention to detail.
Takes direction well.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
