Susquehanna International Group (SIG) has an opening for a Test Engineer to join our technology team in the Sydney office. At SIG, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology with people who are passionate and like-minded.As a member of our Testing team, you will work in a real time, high performance, high frequency, technology environment. You will leverage your development and testing skills to build test automation tools and processes for our highly distributed trading systems.In this position, you will focus on automating testing of exchange connectivity and market data systems.

What we’re looking for
In this role, you will :
- Design and develop custom automation tools and testing processes for exchange connectivity and market data systems running on the Linux platform
- Take a lead in building/enhancing an integration test environment and when needed, troubleshoot and resolve system problems
- Learn in depth details of applications in order to identify and resolve obscure problems
- Work closely with developers, traders and support staff, responding to questions about production systems
- Engage in performance monitoring of the production environment in order to improve system performance
- Assist with numerous automation tasks including testing, deployment, and process improvement
What we are looking for :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field working in a Test Engineer in a software development organization is required
- Must have 2 years’ experience designing and building automated test frameworks
- Demonstrated proficiency in an object-oriented language (C or Python) and a high proficiency with the Linux OS is required
- Experience working with large data sets and understanding of network programming would be highly regarded
- Understanding of distributed systems and trading technology is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to: learn quickly, communicate clearly, and solve business and technical problems is required
