Registered Nurse (RN) Oral Surgery

Susquehanna Oral and Facial Surgery is a leading oral surgery practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a professional and compassionate environment. We specialize in advanced oral and maxillofacial procedures, ensuring the highest standards of safety and comfort for our patients. We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and support our growing practice.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile and safe environment.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery, including administering IV sedation and anesthesia monitoring.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including vital signs, medical history, and surgical documentation.
• Manage inventory and sterilization of surgical instruments and supplies.
• Educate patients on post-operative care, medications, and recovery expectations.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
• Provide emergency response care if needed.

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in oral surgery, anesthesia, or a surgical setting preferred.
• Strong ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, assistants, and administrative staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
